    Distribution of Humanitarian Aid in March 2008

    In March 2008, Operation Blessing provided humanitarian aid to 4,883 people (2,566 of them are children). The following organizations received used clothes and shoes: “Anastasia” Charity Fund, Zabolotinsk specialized boarding school, “Future To the Children of Chernobyl” Charity Fund, Budyshcha orphanage for children with psychological and neurological diseases, Mayorshchina orpahange, “Unity” Association of Disabled People, “Optimist” Association of Disabled People, Association of Large Families “Oriana”, “Compassion and Care” Charity Fund, Melnitsa-Podolsky boarding school. 933 people received free medicines. Rogatyn orphanage received 2 new and 2 used sewing machines for $500. Ternopil Baby Home received 150 Samarian Purses.

    Operation Blessing Ukraine Distributes Two Containers with New Women’s Shoes

    In July 2007, Operation Blessing Ukraine finalized distribution of two containers with new shoes. The cargos were distributed among the charity funds, boarding schools, Christian churches, Children Houses, Boarding Houses for Children, Boarding Houses for elderly people, Asociations of Invalids, Asociations of Large Families. Total 14950 people benefited from this shipment.

    Operation Blessing Ukraine Distributes Container with Household Equipment and Clothes

    In April 2007, Operation Blessing finalized distribution of another container with humanitarian aid provided by Operation Blessing, USA. Among the goods distributed there were stuffed toys, new children’s clothes, new quilt blankets, finger-nail polish remover, metal meat roasters and wooden foot rests. 4500 orphans and needy people benefited from this shipment.

    Operation Blessing Ukraine Distributes Two Containers With Paint

    In November 2006, Operation Blessing Ukraine custom-cleared two containers with paint provided by Operation Blessing, USA. The cargo was distributed among 25 organizations - charity funds, boarding schools, Christian churches, children homes, associations of invalids and associations of large families.

    Operation Blessing Ukraine Distributes Container with Raisins

    On November 28, 2006, Operation Blessing custom-cleared another container of raisings provided by Operation Blessing, USA. The cargo was distributed among charity funds, boarding schools, Christian churches, baby homes, retirement homes, associations of invalids, and large families. 15,093 Ukrainians received a package of sweet sun-dried raisins.

    Raisins for Orphans and Lower-Income People of Ukraine

    On April 13, 2006, the Emmanuel Association received from Operation Blessing USA a container with raisins. This humanitarian aid was administered to orphans, organizations of invalids and large families, victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and pensioners. The total was 15,443 people (including 10,132 children) who received sweet and nutritious raisins.

    Calcium Vitamins for the Children Suffering from Phenylketonuria

    The organization “Generation” is a union of parents whose children suffer with phenylketonuria. In 2006, the organization received humanitarian aid from Operation Blessing – the Calcium Vitamins that will make a wonderful supplement to the children’s scant rations.

    Vitamins for the Needy People of Bashtanka, Nickolayev Region

    In January 2006, Operation Blessing in cooperation with the local church “Living Water” carried out distribution for the needy people of the town of Bashtanka, Nickolayev region. For many people these vitamins were a very important cure.

    Wheelchairs for 550 Disabled People of Ukraine

    In June 2005, Operation Blessing in Ukraine received a container of 550 wheelchairs as the humanitarian aid from the “Free Wheelchair Mission” (USA). All the wheelchairs were distributed among disabled Ukrainians who have backbone problems. Many of them have not been able to spend much time outside as they had no wheelchairs. They are thankful for the presents as now they have a new feeling of being a full value person.

    Samarian Purses for Orphans of Shevchenkovo Town

    On April 19, 2005, Operation Blessing visited a boarding school in Shevchenkovo town of Kharkiv region. Of course, OB staff didn’t come to the boarding school with empty hands. They brought the “Samaritan” presents, raisins, casserole and vitamins for the children.

    Raisins for Orphans of Berdyansk Boarding School

    On March 14-16 of the year 2005 Operation Blessing Staff visited Berdyansk boarding school, where 298 children are being brought up. They are the orphans and the children of the parents whose parental rights were annulled. The money transferred for the needs of the boarding school are catastrophically not enough.
