Ilya’s mother brought this cute 2-year-old boy to one of OB medical outreaches in Khotyn. He has major problems with his eyesight due to a birth trauma. The boy also has very grave problems with his urination system (hypospadias and double-sided cryptorchism) that require immediate diagnostics and treatment. The OB doctors are sure that the boy can be treated, given necessary finances for the medical intervention.

Dmitry Ostrovsky is 27 years old. Three years ago when he was 24 he fell down from the roof and injured his back. Dmitry has already had one surgery but had no finances to continue the treatment and therefore he has been a prisoner to the wheel chair since that. Dmitry is living by himself with no one to care for him (and he lives in a house without heating): his single mother died one year after his injury. Dmitry’s pension is 174 hryvnas (about $35) per month whereas the official cost of the surgery is $2000. Our surgeon examined Dmitry during the medical outreach and has seen that Dmitry has a very high chance to receive complete healing if he undergoes another surgery. Dmitry prayed the prayer of repentance during this medical outreach and he believes that God can change his life forever – and you can be the change by reaching out to help this young man.
