   Our Projects
Helping Orphans

Since 1992 we have been assisting children living in orphanages and boarding schools. More than 130 orphanages throughout Ukraine receive humanitarian aid on a regular basis through our assistance. Children are always looking forward to our visits and this is not just because of the gifts we are bringing. They need hugs, kind words and fellowship, and this is what they appreciate most of all. Our care and attention helps give these children hope and helps them believe that somebody in this world needs them and believes in them.

Training Center

Since September 2005, 170 orphans and children from underprivileged families received a chance to change their future. Today good computer skills and knowledge of the English language allows one to be competitive in the labor market. For children that are not protected socially, such skills are practically unaffordable. Thanks to the Training Center, these children have received the possibility to study English and computer skills free of charge. The knowledge they receive at the center will give them new life perspectives and for some, it will become the beginning of achieving their dreams. In addition to learning new skills, our students have the opportunity to hear the lessons taught in the “School of Life”. This class helps the youth form moral values and learn biblical principals. The program is designed to be completed in two years and every year we will be starting to teach a new group of children.

Feed the Hungry

Since 1998 about 600 citizens of Kiev, living in extreme poverty, have received food annually. For these people, such help is vital and in many cases is their only means of not starving to death. In addition to the physical food, we are bringing the hungry spiritual food that gives them strength and helps them hold onto their faith. Since 2006 we have been feeding street children at “New Life Social Care Center” in the Voskresenskoye village, located in the Nickolayev region.

From Heart To Heart

Association Emmanuel has been doing this project since it started. As we talk to people, we encounter stories of great personal need that we cannot ignore. The deep pain we see in those lives compels us to seek help for them from every possible source. Our goal is to connect people with great needs to others who can help them. We are grateful to all partners who decide to support individuals regularly. The goodness of our Partners gives the needy the strength to believe to in miracles!

Children’s Crafts

The children living in orphanages inspired us to start this project. There are many orphans who can make wonderful crafts with their own hands. These crafts are really worth seeing because each of them reflects the heart and the soul of the child who has made it. Since February 2005 we started gathering the children’s crafts and sending them to US for charitable exhibitions and auctions. The money earned from these crafts goes to the orphanages and helps to provide for the vital needs of the orphans. Thanks to such cooperation, the orphanages can solve many of their problems and make the children happy – now they know that their work can help them provide for their “home”.

Holiday of Hope

Since 1995, we have been giving Christmas and Easter concerts and performances. Our concert department organizes musical and theater performances for children, shows animations, arranges meetings with the Superbook characters and conducts many other entertaining activities. The goal of all concerts is to convey love, mercy and kindness to the young audiences, all the virtues that influence the achievement of personhood.

Christian Camps

Since 2000 we have been looking for ways to help children from underprivileged families spend their summers in Christian summer camps. In our camps children are able to be plunge into the atmosphere of love and attention, learn to apply basic Biblical principles, and find new friends. For them the time spent in the camp becomes unforgettable.

Back to School

The project was started in 1998. The goal of the project is to provide orphans and children from low income families with school supplies. Thanks to the “Back to School” project the first school day has become a holiday for 8,435 children.
