Liliana Bukur Needs Finances for Heart and Eyes Surgeries

Bukur Yekaterina, our sister in Christ and the mother of eight children, wrote a letter to “Operation Blessing” asking for help. Her 5-months-old daughter, Liliana, suffers from several grave diseases: Down syndrome, inborn cataract of both eyes and a cardiac defect. Last December Liliana already had one surgery, but needs two more eyes surgeries and a major heart surgery. Dear brothers and sisters, Liliana’s mother applies to every one of you to help her raise money for the girl’s treatment. Please, pray for Liliana’s healing with us!

Natalia Tereshchuck Needs Your Help!

Four years ago Natalia was diagnosed with acute myeloblastosis. For the last four years the young girl has been fighting this terrible disease. Natalia has had many blood transfusions and the blood for transfusions came from about 50 to 60 donors. Unfortunately, through these procedures she got infected with Hepatitis B and C. Now Natalia needs unceasing yearly therapy of Hepatitis B and C. The medicines that can treat this disease successfully are very expensive so she can’t start her treatment without having enough money for the whole year. Natasha lives with her mother and grandmother who is paralyzed after a stroke. Needless to say, that the family doesn’t have enough finances to provide for these vital medicines. We apply to everyone to help us raise money for Natalia’s treatment.

Christmas Concerts for 800 Children of Nickolayev Region

Between December 18 and January 8, Christmas concerts sponsored by Operation Blessing Ukraine were provided for more than 800 children of Nikolaev region and for 4 villages of Bashtanka area. The children had a chance to watch a Christmas play, to learn the wonderful story Jesus’ birth, to participate in various games and to receive wonderful presents. More than 800 children received stuffed lambs personally presented by the Superbook Club’s President and beloved children’s hero – Robot Robick.

Four Needy Children Received Financial Help for Medical Treatment

It’s not a secret for anyone that medical situation in Ukraine is very far from being perfect. On one hand, the medical treatment is Ukraine is considered to be free, but in reality you have to pay for every medical service and every pill that you have to take. This situation becomes especially difficult for the families with children suffering from grave diseases like cerebral palsy, leukemia, cancer, Hepatitis, etc. Not only do the parents have to watch their child day and night, but they also need to think of the ways to provide for the medical services and medicines that are unbelievably expensive! Luckily, there are people whose heart is open to help people like that. In situations where you either pay enormous amounts or lose your child, the gratitude of parents is just indescribable. Vlad Zabrodsky is one of the people who has been continually helping families and children in need.

Caring For Street Children In Nickolayev “New Life” Social Center

It has been several years now that Operation Blessings supports the activity of “New Life” social Center for street children in the town of Nickolayev by providing hot meals for the kids during the day. The staff of the Center offers real home atmosphere, possibility to talk to Christians, to take showers and spend time with other kids and, most importantly, they share their love with the children. Many of them have come to the Center to find love and support they can’t have in their own families.
